Shoot the Breeze!
A downloadable game for Windows
Shoot the breeze is made for the GMTK 2023 Game Jam. The theme for this jam was 'roles reversed,' so in my game, you control the enemies bullets instead of your own!
As you enjoy your favorite sunbathing spot, the local pirates arrive and they aren't too happy. They may have started firing cannon balls at you, but nothing is going to get in the way of your easy breezy day off.
Thankfully, you've built your defenses and are armed with the most mighty of weapons: the pinwheel. Use this tool to redirect incoming shots using the arrow keys! I will warn you though, it is only powerful enough to redirect shots that are within the bounds of your island.
If you manage to send those cannon balls back to their senders, you might just get rewarded. Have all 4 ships damaged to get extra lives (repeatable!)

This is my first time using Godot for a game jam! I have my project packaged as a zip file. This should hold the two required files, the .exe, and the .pck!
